Silicone cover (“sock”) for Volcano-style heater blocks. Insulates the hotend to reduce heat loss and plastic buildup while keeping the nozzle tip accessible.

Compatibility: Volcano-format heater blocks (E3D-style and equivalents); not intended for standard V6/MK8 blocks.
Function: Thermal insulation for more stable temperatures and less effect from part-cooling airflow and drafts.
Cleanliness: Helps prevent melted filament from sticking and carbonizing on the block.
Material: High-temperature silicone; flexible, form-fitting cover with nozzle opening.
Installation: Fit on a cold hotend; slide over the block, align with the nozzle opening and heater/thermistor exits; avoid pinching wires.
Maintenance: Replace if torn, deformed, or heavily charred; check clearance around the nozzle after fitting.
